Often described as the luxury counterpart to the Ford Mustang, the Mercury Cougar was introduced in 1967 as a refined and more upscale pony car, aimed at drivers seeking both performance and sophistication.
Out of the 150.893 units produced in 1967, only 123.884 were equipped with hardtops, 8.913 were fitted with the 390ci engine and only 5.967 received an automatic transmission. A mere 661 units left the factory in this striking Polar White exterior, and even fewer were paired with the rare and vibrant turquoise blue interior, making this example exceptionally hard to come by, especially in such well-preserved condition.
Recently recommissioned after a long period of storage, the vehicle has undergone a comprehensive mechanical overhaul and detailing, with over €6,000 spent to ensure it is road-ready and in excellent condition.
A special opportunity to own a beautifully maintained classic with a stunning factory-original color combination.
